Bottle Order

Eight bottles. One hidden order.

Getting your game ready…
THE SHORT VERSION

How to play

Play a bottle color matching game with eight different bottles and a hidden order. Swap bottles, check how many positions match, and use each clue to crack the code in twenty guesses.

  1. Eight different bottles hide in a fixed secret order. Tap two bottles to swap them, then press Check order. Letters A–H and different shapes identify every bottle.
  2. Each guess tells you only how many positions are correct, not which ones. Match all eight within twenty guesses and three minutes. The guess history stays visible; the answer is revealed at the end.
  3. A solved run beats an unfinished run. Fewer guesses win, then less time. Personal records stay on your device; a friend link uses the same secret order. Classic four-bottle links keep their original rules and records.
ONE WORKED EXAMPLE

Read a bottle matching clue

Every bottle appears once. A clue counts positions, not just matching colors.

  1. Suppose the hidden order is B, A, C, D, E, F, G, H. Your first guess A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H earns 6 out of 8, but the game does not tell you which six positions matched.
  2. Tap A, then B to swap those bottles. Check B, A, C, D, E, F, G, H and all eight positions match. Real games use a different seeded secret.
  3. Use the guess history to compare arrangements. Find the complete order within twenty tries and three minutes; the answer is shown when the run ends.

A few useful details

Is this bottle match game the same as water sort?

No. In this bottle color guessing game you infer a hidden order from position counts. You do not pour liquid, combine colors or reveal the answer before guessing.

What does 6 out of 8 mean?

Exactly six bottles are in their correct positions. It does not identify those six bottles. Every bottle appears once, so a count of seven is impossible: if seven are correct, the eighth must also be correct.

How do bottle order scores and friend challenges work?

A solved order beats an unfinished one. Among solved runs, fewer checked guesses win, then a shorter elapsed time. Unfinished runs compare the last guess’s match count, then time. A friend gets the same secret order. Letters A–H and distinct shapes identify the bottles. Four-bottle classic links keep their own rules and separate personal best.

Can I play free and challenge a friend?

Yes. No account or download is needed. After a run, share its challenge link so your friend gets the same seeded setup. Your personal records stay on this device.
